Career Pathways
Doula Certification
Our Doula Pathway, which is part of our Strong Start maternal care program, supports systems-impacted women by offering training and certification in doula services. This program addresses the increasing demand for compassionate, skilled doulas and ensures inclusivity by welcoming participants regardless of educational background or criminal record. Women trained through this pathway are equipped to provide vital support that improves maternal outcomes, especially among marginalized communities. The pathway not only empowers participants with sustainable, well-paying careers but also fosters positive health impacts for mothers and families
Our Professional Skill-Building Services offer comprehensive training and support to empower systems-impacted women and those excluded from traditional employment pathways. By focusing on essential workforce, career, and leadership skills, participants are prepared to secure competitive jobs with living wages and benefits. Through workshops, courses, and certificated training programs, women gain the confidence and expertise needed to navigate professional environments, ensuring long-term career success and economic stability.

Doula Career Pathway
The Doula Pathway is designed to empower women, particularly women of color, to enter the vital field of maternal support as certified doulas. This program responds to a steadily increasing demand for doulas while addressing the stark disparities in maternal healthcare.
Maternal mortality in the United States is an alarming issue, with Black women facing a mortality rate that is 4x higher than that of white women. Despite the proven benefits of having a doula present during labor and postpartum care, there is a significant underrepresentation of women of color in these roles. By fostering more diverse and inclusive representation in the doula workforce, we can help reduce these disparities and improve maternal health outcomes.
Join Us in Creating Lasting Change
Investing in the Doula Pathway program is more than supporting career development; it’s an investment in maternal health equity, economic justice, and community empowerment. Your support helps create a future where women lead, support each other, and shape the systems that impact their lives.
An Inclusive Opportunity
Our Doula Pathway program is designed to be accessible. Certification is open to participants regardless of their educational background or prior records, offering an equitable path to professional and economic stability. This inclusivity is critical for fostering second chances and building generational change.
